On the 21st of August 2012, Ace Monroe Carrigan was born by caesarean Section, at Whangarei Base Hospital, weighing 9lb 5oz. (4220g)
When he was born, both Shawn and I cried.
I cried out of relief that Ace had arrived alive (you never stop worrying about stillbirth once it's already happened to you before) and Shawn cried for joy- he said that the feeling was better than his first flight- and if you know Shawn, you'll know that's a pretty big statement!
He was gorgeous from the second he was born, with a shock of copper coloured hair
He is such a darling and I love him so much. He's my "beauty for ashes"
(Isaiah 61:3)
nuh-wo-ti a-dah-nah-doh
ReplyDeleteThe above is phonetic spelling in Cherokee. You remember, I was calling you Walela, which means Hummingbird.
Ace is Medicine for your heart. :) He is a healer. nuh-wo-ti a-dah-nah-doh means "Medicine Heart"
You could say nuh-wo-ti Wa-le-la a-dah-nah-do, "Medicine for Walela's Heart"
But he is not just medicine for you, though that is very true and the main point, but he is medicine, good medicine for all who see him and come to know him and will be in the future a lover of truth and of love to all people.
He is good medicine for me, because when I read what you wrote about crying out of relief, I was saying that from the start and praying that our Father would have mercy and I knew it would be so. Because you are my sister and I will not forget our conversations concerning all those things.
I love you Heather and God Bless You Shawn Carrigan for being a man and taking care of this good woman of God! I give Him Praise and Glory and thanks Him for all things.
Thanks Carl! So glad you got the link! As for Aces Cherokee name, I love it! Thanks for taking the time to explain it. I miss you and Retta and all your crew, please feel free to send them all a link to this blog. god bless you.
ReplyDeleteAwww, we miss you too! I will tell everyone about it! Amy Mount was worried that you didn't like anymore cause she couldn't find you on her friends list. :) I'll tell them.
