Ace updates and keeping in touch- IS ANYONE READING THESE?

Hello one and all :)
If you are reading this, it is probably because you popped your email in the "follow by email" box at the top of my blog, and for this I am really grateful.

I have been working hard to keep all my friends and family updated on Ace's progress, without having to revert to having a Facebook page. It's actually been quite a lonely process and I have felt quite a lot of pressure from folks to go back to Facebook as its easier for them to keep up to date.

Because I would rather have a blog, I have missed getting feedback about what I post (people always commented when I posted on facebook) and often wonder if anyone actually even reads my blog.

So I pose this question: IS ANYONE READING MY POSTS? and is it worth continuing to spend time posting updates???

I have checked all the settings on this blog - to ensure that you can now post a comment without having to have a blogger profile or fill out one of those letter code security things, so there is no reason why you can't just say hi or leave your comment easily.

Remember, at times its lonely being a stay at home mum and believe it or not, sometimes something as simple as a comment on a blog can make all the difference :)
Thank you my darling friends.... I hope to hear from you soon!

Love Heather :)

Ace Update- 10 weeks old today!

Well well well! Our little man is 10 Weeks old today!!!
This is him napping while I write this.

He's hit a bunch of little milestones in the past week, sleeping 8 hours straight, growing into 00 clothes and his first screaming fit (poor baby)

He's done a lot of sleeping
(so has daddy!)

He's had lots of cuddles

Michael and Ace just hanging out.
Ace and the happiest Mummy in the world
He's done lots of playing
And he's even had a mohawk (its for Movember - hes too young for moustache)

It's been a big week for a iddy biddy baby boy.

Giggling babies always sound gorgeous!!

Aunty Katie came to visit, she found Ace's giggle button!!!

Well Fed Bubba! The Plunket Nurse Visits

We had a visit from the Plunket nurse today. She weighed and measured Ace. Its been 3 weeks since her last visit, in that time Ace has put on two pounds! (900 grams)
He now weighs 14lb 2 oz (6.4kg) He measures 24 1/2 " (62 cm) long.

The nurse was impressed by how active, alert and vocal he is and said over all he's a bonny healthy thriving baby....

Ace's singing debut... a duet with Mummy...

Ace has well and truly found his voice today... singing along with me.... ha ha! He may look like his daddy, but he gets his voice from me!
Without further ado ..... Ladies and Gentlemen, put your hands together for Ace Monroe, with a rousing rendition of "You Are My Sunshine"
